I have been working in the hospitality industry for 10 years and K2 is one of the best organizations I have ever worked with. I got married recently and my fried and wedding planner immediately suggested K2 for my lighting and draping needs. If I didn’t already have a DJ I would have used them for that service as well. They absolutely transformed my wedding venue into my exact vision. They were knowledgeable, punctual, professional and above all flexible. I wasn’t sold on getting a videographer, but my husband wanted to do it. K2 was very reasonably priced, had lots of options (and was willing to tailor a package to what I needed), and got everything set up quickly for me (we decided only a few weeks before our wedding that we wanted to get a videographer – thank goodness they were available!). At the wedding, they were fantastic – totally invisible to us except for a few times the cameraman asked me to stand still for a shot. He got tons of great coverage. It was good, interesting footage without being too dramatic – a good balance between beautiful and functional (not so artsy that you can’t tell what’s going on). I still didn’t know what to expect and assumed it would take a while to get anything from them. So I was thrilled to get an email less than two weeks after the wedding with a link to our video online. DVDs followed the next day in the mail. I watched our short, edited video and was totally amazed – this was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. Worth every single penny. I shared with my bridesmaids, and the universal reaction was, “I wish I had done this for my wedding.” K2 was just fantastic – so easy to communicate and work with, great shots of everything we wanted, a beautiful editing job on our video and made us feel like this was the best money we spent on our wedding. K2 Productions did our videography and also brought a slow motion booth for our guests to enjoy. They were extremely professional, they never interrupted any activity and never got in the way of the photographers. Their equipment was not big and clunky and they were easily able to bring handheld recorders onto the dance floor to get really good shots from the middle of the action. Also, the slow motion booth was a big hit with our guests. We received our wedding video after a couple of weeks and we absolutely LOVED it! It was extremely well done. The songs that were chosen worked perfectly with our video and we thought they were fantastic choices. We really enjoyed how it all came together. Even the 4 minute summary video was amazing and the song choices for that one were just as awesome, giving us the feeling that they spent as much effort on the highlight video as the full video. This was a very nice addition as it allowed us to post the highlight video on Facebook for our friends to see as well as email it to those who wanted to have it. Dear Kevin and K2 production family, Wow!! That has been everyone’s response after viewing our wedding video. Let me say that I argued with my husband during the planning of our wedding because I thought having a videographer was a waste of money and something extra that I didn’t feel we needed. Kevin, WOW! You far exceeded our expectations and we are more than pleased (that word just doesn’t have enough letters in it to convey how we feel)! Allee and Jon-Charles had the wedding and reception of their dreams and you certainly played (pardon the pun) a large part in making it happen. When we met you at that Bridal Show in Winston, Allee said then that K2 looked professional. She liked your “look” and just had a “good feeling”, her words, about you and she was right. Her Dad and I are wondering how many times you have been asked to extend a reception for an hour and a half! We have had TONS of calls and e-mails telling us it was the best party EVER!! The guests – almost all 375 of them – were on that dance floor from the time they got there until the last dance. Even my 88 year old Mom said the music was great and she loved the way you handled the Bridal Party intros and let everyone know about the cake cutting and bouquet tossing, etc. When this wedding planning started last year, I prayed that the Lord would just put good people in my path because He knows that I am NOT the most organized soul on earth and, boy howdy, were my prayers answered ten times over! Guests tried to give me credit, but it wasn’t me – it was you, K2, and Corums and Maria’s and Doris Tilley and Happy Rentz and Caroline (Kress Terrace) and Sarah and Dove Publishing and our musicians (directed by Carla Ely)at our church! 7/7/12 at the Mint Museum Uptown Memories to Last a Lifetime – What’s better than your wedding day? Reliving it through film! It’s a keepsake that you can share with your friends & family and pass down the generations. This aspect of the wedding was so important to me that I was willing to reduce my food budget in order to afford a quality vendor. After weeks of research, I decided to go with K2 Productions for their cinematic videography. My contact, Jordan Kennedy, answered all my questions professionally and was responsive anytime I needed anything. A few days before the wedding my fiance Brian and I met with the DP (Director of Photography) Brent Christy and went over our expectations and vision for our big day. Brent informed us of how the filming would go and what some of his standards for filming were. We knew we were in good hands. On the day of the wedding, Brent and his team showed up on time and ready to go. They were fun and knew when to drop back and let the day unfold organically. We received our highlights reel about a month after our wedding and it made my heart skip a beat! My husband Brian and I watched it several times and were impressed by how Brent was able to craft a 4 minute video into a beautiful journey of our special day! I would highly recommend K2 to any bride who wants this kind of videography.

6/2/12 at Raffaldini Vineyards and Winery My husband wanted to make sure we had a great DJ, and we are so happy we chose K2. Guests commented on how they loved the music selection, and we didn’t even have to make a list for the DJ to go by. Alex played the songs we asked, and filled in the rest with music to fit the mood. He was able to help move the night along by keeping track of the events of the night, and he also brought lighting that we didn’t even expect to have.

5/5/12 at Belmont Estates Absolutely wonderful experience – K2Productions was absolutely wonderful in being the videographers, DJ, and lighting specialists in my wedding. Prior to the wedding, K2 was very organized and asked about all details that I wanted throughout the wedding weekend, so I wouldn’t have to worry about anything on the actual big day. 4/28/12 at Childress Vineyards A Night to Remember! – Wow! Without K2, my wedding would not have been the same. Mario and the whole team who helped me leading up to the day, were fabulous! Mario even went as far, as to find me in the bridal suite the day of and make sure my planning sheet was exactly how I wanted it! Would recommend them over and over again!

3/11/12 at The Pavilions at Angus Barn Gorgeous Video – Makes me cry almost every time:-) – K2 videographers, Jordan and Melissa captured our day so beautifully. They were so warm and personable which truly helped me to relax and often forget they were even there. They truly listened to our hopes and desire for the video and created a romantic, loving, funny, unique video all in 1 package. The highlight videos are my favorite. I can watch them anytime I want for a 3-4 minute reminder of the day. K2 was so easy to work with and a joy to share in our wedding day! “There were 2 reasons I went with K2 Productions. 4/21/12 at The Gardens at Grey Gables For our DJ service we had Alex! He was amazing! He put up with all of our speeches, and song requests, and made sure that everyone had fun and was on the dance floor all night long! The videographer Jordan was also wonderful! Him and his team captured all of the magic of our day, and made sure that some of the more “not fit for TV” stuff didn’t make it to the video. It was a great thing to be able to watch our video, and our interviews after we were home and settling into our new married life!

I just can’t say enough about the fabulous guys at K2. I have used them twice now for my children’s wedding. My daughter was just married at our home this past weekend. I am a DJ and needed up lighting for a prom that I was working. I called K2 Productions and spoke with Jennifer. She provided 12 uplights and 2 GOBO’s with a city skyline. Andrew and Brittney arrived right on schedule and helped place all of the lights. They had some great ideas about placement that made the room look amazing. He even came to the rehearsal to make sure the music was good with the processional. Hi Jennifer! However brief this email is going to be, please do not let it weigh down excitement, appreciation, and happiness I have! Alex was AMAZING!!! I could not have asked for a more professional company to do my wedding. He was exactly what I was hoping for. He was Friendly, Funny, Respectful, Professional, and Talented in his craft. I did not get to communicate with Alex as much as I would have liked but it was a super busy night for me and my groom, but EVERYONE had awesome things to say about him! 5/11/13 at Magnolia Manor My favorite part of my wedding was knowing that my DJ would be great! I had been to a venue that K2 productions had done before and knew they would be doing my wedding. From the very beginning of talking with the managers about prices and packages all the way to the end was an easy process. I have a very broad taste in music and had very specific songs that I wanted played during the ceremony and the reception. My DJ Mario accommodated every request without hesitation! He was wonderful! I keep contemplating having some other party just so he can DJ it for me! I would recommend him and K2 productions to any bride or event planner!

3/19/13 at Proximity Hotel …couldn’t be happier with our choice to use K2Productions for our daughter’s wedding at the Proximity Hotel. From day one they were a pleasure to work with and DJ Alex was outstanding! Family & friends have been raving! We had the BEST time!

3/16/13 at Proximity Hotel We had a small wedding, and it looked like most of what they did was BIG, so we were concerned that K2 may not be the right fit. We wanted to document our story, but not crush it with “booms” and cameras. They heard us and out concerns and the result was a GREAT and very personal video to celebrate and remember our big day – which wasn’t cast in the shadow of big productions.

2/24/13 at O’Henry Hotel Hi Kenneth and Kevin, Thanks so much for sponsoring CTG’s Oscar Night celebration again this year. Kenneth, I know we threw some curveballs at you at the last-minute (last-second!) with moving the performance area and getting the Quicktime video to play, but you rose to the occasion so gracefully (as always). I’ve had so many comments on how great the entertainment was, and how perfect it was to watch the telecast on the big screens (using the elevated speakers was a stroke of genius). 10/27/12 at Revolution Mills Amazing!! We had such an amazing time at our wedding, and it would not have been the same without our DJ (DJ Q), and Videographers (Brett and Brent)!! We got a bundle of things from K2, we got uplighting, our DJ, and our Videographers who were so wonderful!!

10/20/12 at The Hayloft I’ve worked with K2 Productions a couple of times on other weddings, but this time it was for my own wedding! I had a great experience working with Kayce to have K2 handle the sound system for our ceremony. They took care of the mic for our officiant and the speakers for our ceremony musician, along with being on site to handle the sound throughout the ceremony. Q was on time and had everything set-up and ready to go in no time. So many guests complimented us on our ceremony, an important part of our wedding day they would not have been able to hear had it not been for K2. I can’t wait to work with K2 again, and I would highly recommend them to any couples seeking sound, lighting, DJs, etc. for their wedding day!

10/13/12 at Beacatcher Farm Kayce, it was simply perfect. The lights were exactly what I had wanted and the orange was a really nice touch. Thank you so much for all your help. I have already recommended you to several of our friends that are planning weddings.

10/6/12 at the Fair Barn Kayce, We could not have had a better time. Mario was awesome! He played all the songs we have requested and played everything at the right time. I will definitely recommend you guys and especially Mario to anyone who needs a dj. Thank you for everything!

9/29/12 at the O’Henry Hotel We just have to say that Mario did an exceptional job in getting the ‘party started’ at our wedding. His music choices were perfect and he kept the dance floor alive from start to finish. So many people have told us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to and we know it had a lot to do with Mario and K2Productions! Thank you so much!

Kevin, I want to thank you and your team for making our Grand Opening event so successful. Your creative ideas and the transformation of our facility was amazing.
