K2Productions had the pleasure of teaming up with the Greensboro Children’s Museum in Greensboro NC to provide music, decor, and lighting for their Polar Express Youth Event on December 6, 2014.  We had such an amazing time being creative in four different sections of the museum.

First, we helped create a Cocoa Cafe in the lobby by bringing in drapery for the front windows as well as a custom made North Pole sign.  They complimented the snowflakes, icicle lights, and evergreen trees the Museum brought into the space very nicely.

In the clock tower and Main Street areas we brought in large LED snowflakes that hung from the ceiling as well as Christmas light covered white trees to line the walkway.

At the end of Main Street Santa and Mrs. Claus were greeting children and the kids were able to create some beautiful crafts in Santa’s Workshop!

One of the largest structures we’ve created for a youth event was a walk-in Gingerbread House for a Gingerbread House Party!  The museum had the Gingerbread Man there to make appearance and we provided Elf Chase to DJ!  The kids had a great time dancing in their pajamas.

The museum created the South Pole where the Ice Queen was located.  We built three igloos using milk jugs that were up-lit in blue that the kids would crawl and walk into!  The South Pole also had some enormous inflatable snowmen to added to the icicle and snowball decor hanging from the ceiling.

We had an amazing time working with the Greensboro Children’s Museum to create this fun, family oriented event for kids of all ages.  We look forward to the opportunity to work with them on future events!

A special thank you to J-Lynn Photography for capturing the awesome photos of the day!
